Connect for Energy

Let’s thrive together by bringing energy and routine into your day, with Time Out Tai Chi

A modern approach to Tai Chi for wellness

Hi, I’m Leanne,

Principal Trainer at Balance Minder, Registered Fitness Australian AusREP Exercise Professional and, most importantly, a mother (and now grandmother).

I’ve dedicated my life to teaching Tai Chi all over Australia. And now, during these unprecedented times, I want to make the calming benefits of Tai Chi accessible for all individuals in isolation due to COVID-19.

COVID-19 has us all couped up at home. And whilst spending all this extra time with family should be a welcomed experience; it’s normal to feel overwhelmed during this time.

Through Connect for Energy, I’m offering you the opportunity to enjoy movement but for calmness and connection. Best of all, all members of your household can join.

After just one session you’ll feel happier and more content within yourself, and your family will feel the benefits too.

Connect for Energy offers a modern and practical approach to Tai Chi to be completed in the home.

Join me in our virtual training hub and feel the benefits for yourself.

Connect for Energy is for everyone.

It’s especially beneficial if you:

Feel frazzled and like you’re being pulled in every direction
Don’t have control over your daily routine
Are struggling to find the energy for regular exercise
Are looking for a way to bring the collective energy of the household down
Want to make the most from this stay-at-home experience

Connect for Energy can contribute to feeling more grounded, in-control of your emotions and improve the overall happiness of the household!

Our courses are not traditional Tai Chi programs. Balance Minder wellness courses are designed to remedy our modern world. Using a mixture of traditional Tai Chi practices in combination with modern fitness practices, Balance Minder strengthens the body and the mind.

Join us as we experience mindfulness through movement

During this time, it is important to do things that help us to cope and maintain good mental health. Balance Minder has created an online virtual hub that can provide individuals access to Time Out Tai Chi either as an “On Your Feet” or “Off Your Feet” exercise.

We deliver all our courses through Zoom to allow you to continue practicing social distancing.

“Tai Chi is a slow and gentle exercise that is suitable for older adults with chronic illness. This exercise offers the benefits of flexibility, muscle strengthening, and endurance training. Tai Chi has the capability of improving the health of elders without exacerbating existing impairments. Therefore, older adults may be more inclined to participate in and maintain an exercise program.” (Adler, P. A., & Roberts, B. L: 2006)
